Childcare

A professionally staffed nursery is available every Sunday during the 10:00 am worship service. Parents and caregivers may drop off their babies or toddlers, aged 0-3 years, beginning at 9:45 am. The childcare room is located next to the sanctuary in the Dewart Room. It is a fully equipped and staffed area with toys, baby equipment, and books.

Parents must remain in the building when their children are in the nursery. Children should be picked up immediately following the end of the worship service. Children should be enrolled in our nursery program before being dropped off for the first time.

While our nursery is a fun and welcoming space for young ones, please know that babies and toddlers are always welcome to stay with their parents in the sanctuary. We love the sounds and sights of our littlest parishioners. There are some soft books and toys in a basket at the back of the sanctuary for them to explore. Mothers are very welcome to nurse their babies anywhere in the building, including the sanctuary. Rocking chairs are available in nursery.

The nursery for is ages zero through three years of age; for children in preschool and older, we offer faith formation experiences every Sunday during the 10:00 am hour.

Accessibility

There are two accessible parking spots on Church Street directly in front of the church.

Epiphany’s campus is made up of three interconnected structures:

The Sanctuary (the church) – Accessibility into the sanctuary is directly through the front doors via a ramp, or from the circular driveway on Central Street. Seating in the sanctuary also has space for wheelchairs, walkers, and rollators to be with you at all times. There is a Communion station that can be accessed without going up stairs, or we can arrange to bring Communion to you at your pew—just ask an usher.

Upper Parish Hall (function space) and Offices – Inside this section of the building is an elevator to make all floors accessible, as well as an accessible bathroom with an automated door. Currently, while the main entrance through the Cloister Garden is flat, the door is manually operated.

Hadley Hall/Kitchen (function space) – This section of the building can be accessed via an automated door off of Church Street on the kitchen side of Hadley Hall. Portable ramps are also available for wheelchair access to Hadley Hall’s doors, closest to the Cloister Garden.
