Midweek

Community, a delicious home-cooked meal, and creative explorations of faith: this is what Midweek offers at Epiphany.

Midweek is a beloved, parish-wide intergenerational ministry. Everyone, from our youngest babies to our most senior friends, is invited. We eat dinner together, enjoying delicious, home-cooked food and friendly conversation. After dinner, we spend half an hour in formation; that is, we learn and explore our faith in ways unique from Sunday mornings. Often, adults join Rev. Nick for a Bible study, teens join Rev. Janelle for conversation, and children join Bryn and Jeremy for faith-based art and music projects. On some Wednesdays, all ages remain together for a celebration, a creative project, or a time of special worship.

Why Midweek?

Midweek is an excellent way to get to know people outside of worship; to meet people from all generations; and to feel known and connected in a loving environment. It is an ideal venue for new members of the parish to meet and engage with fellow parishioners. Midweek is a space to grow, ask questions, and feel the unconditional love of God.

Midweek is held on the first and third Wednesday evenings of each month. Dinner begins at 6:15pm, and formation is from 7:00-7:30pm. Midweek is free (donations accepted if desired), and no registration is needed. Midweek runs on volunteer help, and on-the-job training is provided to volunteers who prep, cook, serve, and clean up.

You are invited! Find nourishment at Midweek.

Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Parish Weekend Away

Our all-parish, intergenerational retreat weekend at the Barbara C. Harris Camp & Conference Center in Greenfield, NH is in September, annually. Immerse yourself in the peace and beauty of creation, and the community and welcome of our Annual All-Parish Weekend Away. The weekend offers nature walks and canoeing, art and music workshops, worship and Bible study, morning yoga and evening hikes. This is a parish-wide, intergenerational opportunity to make connections and deepen friendships, and to feel the loving presence of God outside our normal routines.
