The Wednesday Bible Study will begin on September 9 at 9:00 am in the Suter Library. The Sermon on the Mount is often thought of as Christian belief and discipleship encapsulated. We will spend seven weeks through October 21 looking at these words of Jesus that teach us how to be disciples and seekers of the kingdom of God on this earth. We will use Sermon on the Mount: A Beginner’s Guide to the Kingdom of Heaven by Amy-Jill Levine as a guide with some other words from Christians ancient and modern. Copies will be available.

All are welcome! Come as you are able—it is not necessary to attend every session to participate. In the past year, the Wednesday group has included people with little or no experience of Bible study as well as those with a history of such study. Each person has contributed to our thoughtful, animated, and joyful study of scripture. Revs. Bob Davidson and Liz Senft will serve as coordinators of this study. For any questions, please contact Rev. Liz.
