On Sunday, April 13 from 5:00-7:00 pm, join J2J to watch Ava DuVernay’s documentary “13th,” which explores the history of racial inequality in the United States, arguing that mass incarceration is a continuation of slavery, focusing on the 13th Amendment’s loophole allowing involuntary servitude as punishment for crime. Popcorn, pizza, and drinks will be provided.
