On Sunday, May 3 at 11:30 am, following the 10:00 am service, we will continue our J2J series of “getting close and proximate” and welcome Gerry Whetstone, Executive Director of the Malden Warming Center (MWC). He will share how he has created a safe and welcoming place for unhoused people during the cold Boston winters. We have many parishioners who volunteer at MWC (last season 35 parishioners collectively completed 171 shifts), and we are excited to bring MWC here and invite more into this meaningful and transformational volunteer opportunity.
