On October 28 and November 4 from 9:00-10:00 am, the Wednesday Bible Study will have a brief overview of the Gospel of Mark! The lessons we hear on Sunday morning come from something called the Revised Common Lectionary, which Episcopalians share with many other denominations. The Gospel readings are in a three year rotation. Our upcoming Church year, which begins on the First Sunday of Advent on November 29, is a Gospel of Mark year. To recognize and prepare for this, we will do a brief two week overview of the Gospel of Mark. Please contact Revs. Bob Davidson and Liz Senft with any questions.
