Anyone interested in exploring a wonderful community of learners and seekers is invited to a “Get Acquainted” evening to learn more about Education for Ministry (EfM). EfM has been hosted on or off for nearly 20 years at Parish of the Epiphany as an Adult Formation program sponsored by Sewanee Seminary. EfM meets for 36 weeks during the academic year between September and May.
The “Get Acquainted” evening will provide an opportunity to learn more about this program which provides learners with biblical studies, church history, theological issues and the deepening of one’s spiritual life of prayer and relationship with other Christians.
From 6:00-7:00 pm, current participants and the EfM Mentor, the Rev. Bob Davidson, will share their stories and passion about learning and the impact this program has had on each of their lives.
