Claire Yuh-Yuh Yang (a 4th grade student at Ambrose Elementary School) is an award-winning young composer of contemporary classical music. Claire has written over a dozen ensemble pieces that have debuted at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall; Mozarthaus, Vienna; and The Heifetz Festival of Concerts. The MoZarC Quintet (Motti Fang-Bentov, piano; Sara Wilkins, cello; Zoey Long, viola; Chi-Fu Jeffrey Yang, violin; and composer Claire Y. Yang, ) will premiere her latest original compositions on Friday, May 15 at 7:00 pm in the Upper Parish Hall.
